Here's a running list of the websites OrgAnnex uses for research and information. Most of these sites are action-oriented, fighting for your right to have pesticide-free food.
Though I support the Organic Consumers Association in general, and have been a member for years, and I fully support Millions Against Monsanto, my focus is on for organics. That means I'm against pesticides, but more importantly I'm for organic.
It's easy enough to be against something, but on the positive side we'll each be happier when we figure out what we're for.
Ergo, I'm for solutions, for positive outcomes and for organic. Only organiculture can solve the most pressing crisis we face today. These crisis are all interconnected and have been building for decades due to unsustainable consumption. These crisis are, in order:
If you read only one OrgAnnex article, then read Eliot Coleman's Keynote Speech at the 2009 Seed Savers Conference. It serves as a history of USA organic agriculture.
If you choose to read a book instead, I very highly recommend Maria Rodale's "Organic Manifesto". She's a third generation organic farmer. Her grandfather started America's first organic farm. You'll learn a wide variety of eye-opening things like how E. coli is used to modify genes and sticks around for the nasty party in your gut; that even Monsanto executives eat organic because they know better, and how even the rats on the first organic farm were transformed from nasty hissing menaces into nice rodents one would be tempted to have as a pet.
So, without further ado, here's a list of sites to get you started:

“Broadly defined, organic is a method of farming and gardening that relies on natural systems and products, and is free of virtually all synthetic and toxic chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides. The United States Department of Agriculture has strict regulations farmers must follow to be certified organic and to carry the USDA Organic logo. Here’s what certified organic is not: chemical fertilizers and pesticides, GMO seeds, biosolids (sewer sludge), or irradiated food. Certified-organic meat, eggs, and dairy are free of antibiotics and growth hormones. They are produced in environments where animals are fed 100 percent organic feeds and have access to outdoors and pasture.”
